CARE GUIDES BY MATERIAL

Gold Plated Sterling Silver

Avoid exposing your Sterling Silver piece to chlorinated water and to cleaning products that contain bleach. Use a soft cloth to clean your silver piece. To minimize scratches and nicks, store it in your Truda pouch or in a separate compartment in your jewelry box.

Stainless Steel Base

Stainless steel is water-resistant, making it ideal for wear during your daily routine without concern. For our gold-plated stainless steel, we employ a furnace vacuum plating process that enhances durability and wear resistance. Despite this advanced plating technique, it's advisable to exercise caution with chemicals. The gold plating, while more durable, may still be vulnerable to damage and corrosion over time when exposed to harsh substances. To maintain the jewelry's appearance and longevity, we recommend avoiding contact with chemicals. Additionally, to prevent tarnishing and keep your jewelry looking its best, gently wipe it down with a jewelry cloth before and after wear. Store it in your Truda pouch or in a separate compartment in your jewelry box.

Gold Plated Brass

Gently rub your gold-plated jewelry with a soft jewelry cloth to restore its shine. Plated pieces can be prone to oxidation over time, so we recommend removing them before you swim, shower, or apply lotion, makeup, or perfume. To minimize scratches, store your piece in your Truda pouch or in a separate compartment in your jewelry box.

Gemstones

Gemstones have varying degrees of hardness and need to be cared for properly. Many colored gemstones stones are susceptible to discoloration and fading when excessively exposed to natural elements such as sun, salt water, perspiration, and chemical irritants like chlorine, cosmetics, and lotions. When not being worn, store your jewelry in a safe, dry place to protect it from the elements of daily exposure.

Pearls

Pearls can be sensitive to environmental factors, so treat them with love. Maintain the brilliance and luster of pearls by wearing them often to prevent drying. When not being worn, store pearls in a safe place. Avoid storing pearls in ultra dry environments as this can be damaging.
