Our Materials
Made to Last & Say No to Green Skin
Quality never goes out of style. We grew frustrated to see our favorites pieces becoming tarnished and faded after just few uses...And some pieces may even make your skin green. Our jewelry is made to stand the test of time, no matter what life throws at you. We believe that long lasting & water-resistant pieces shouldn't just for a small group of people. We use some new technologies, high quality and durable materials to make the jewelry both affordable and long lasting. Following are the materials and techologies we use.
Stainless Steel Base
Stainless Steel has a naturally high resistance to tarnishing and rusting. For this reason, most of jewelry are made from high quality, 100% recycle, medical-grade 316 stainless steel.
For the gold color, our jewelry is plated with a thick layer of 14K/18K gold using a technique called PVD (Physical Vapor Deposition). This modern and new plating method is environmentally friendly and employs a vacuum coating process, making it more durable than traditional gold plating. They are water-resistant and much more durable than normal gold plated products. If you want to buy longer-lasting products, please choose stainless steel products.
Gold Plated Sterling Silver
The best known precious metals are gold and silver. Silver has a softer structure compared to many mines. Having a soft structure makes it difficult to process in various designs. In order to give silver a hardness that can be processed, it must be mixed with various metals such as copper. 925 Sterling Silver consists of 92.5% silver and 7.5% other metals. The base of some pieces are sterling silver and we then coat the piece with a thick layer of 14k/18K gold/white gold enhancing its durability and luster.
Gold Plated Brass
Brass is known for its strength and durability. Compared to stainless steel, it is softer, which means it can be shaped into more complex designs. Compared to silver, it is more affordable. Brass serves as the base for some of our intricately designed jewelry. We apply an extra-thick layer of 14k/18k gold/white gold to enhance its luster and durability. With reasonable care and maintenance, these pieces can last for a very long time.
